The Coast Guard reprints a lot of the same questions year after year, sometimes with a reworded stem, a different abbreviation or shuffled answer choices. Instead of piling those in as copies, we matched 1,624 repeats to the question you already know and updated 966 of them to the newest USCG wording. We also merged 840 duplicate copies of questions that were already in Sea Trials. You study each question once, in its latest form, with no clutter.
With 1,779 new questions and 31,048 in all, you're more prepared than ever to study with Sea Trials.
We check every answer key against the real references, and when the Coast Guard's key is wrong, Sea Trials teaches the right answer. Two examples:
All 225 chart plot sets, including 27 new for 2027, play step by step, with 1,088 hints and explanations refreshed.
Illustrations have been upscaled, redrawn and relinked: 23 low-res diagrams redrawn at about 1,400 to 2,400 pixels and 40+ rebuilt as clean, sharp tables.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Sea Trials over the years. It takes a crew, and you're it.
More than ever, the Coast Guard is testing from internal questions it never publishes or releases. Nobody has access to them: not us, not the schools, not any other app. The only way to close that gap is together, and we have a tight crew.
Sea Trials comes in at a lower price and does things nobody else in this space has tried. It works fully offline, even out at sea. It has an AI tutor you can chat with and a voice agent you can actually talk to. Every one of our 30,000+ questions has its own hint and explanation. Your progress syncs across your ship, phone and computer, with apps on every platform. We're just getting started.
After your exam, send us the module code and whatever you remember of the questions you saw: wording, numbers or answer choices. Please don't send photos or screenshots; exam content is protected by law, but memory reports are completely legal. Half a question still helps.
Send what you remember to support@seatrials.net.
Fair winds on your exam.
