How should you warm up a diesel engine that has not been run for some time?
Inject ether into the air intake to shorten warm up time.
Bring it up to top speed immediately and run until warmed up.
Idle for a brief period of time and then warm up at half speed.
Run it at minimum speed until warmed to operating temperature.
